BBQ Meatball Sliders with Cucumber Radish Slaw

This coming Sunday is a big deal in America (to some). It’s the day when some sportsball team plays another sportsball team in a battle to the death! Ok, maybe there is no literal killing involved but it’s supposedly a showdown of epic proportions that only men wearing tight pants and huge fake shoulders could pull off.

Vegan Holiday Gift Guide 2014

In the spirit of compassion and positivity I compiled a Vegan Holiday Gift Guide. Beautiful and thoughtful gifts in a variety of price points for the vegan in your life. I realize the holidays are about being with loved ones, and I personally would rather just spend quality time with my friends and family than focus on gifts, but sometimes it feels good to give someone you love something thoughtful and special. So I hope this list helps you on your quest!

Cookbook Corner: The Vegan Zombie: Cook & Survive

Over the past few years I have collected quite a bit of vegan cookbooks. I love getting a new cookbook and spending a couple hours going through them, looking at the pictures, reading the recipes and marking the ones I really want to make. After that process they usually go on the shelf and sit there untouched. It’s a horrible habit I have and I am determined to break it with this new series I’m calling Cookbook Corner. Each week I will make a recipe from one of the cookbooks I own and share it with you here!

St. Paddy’s Day Shake

“May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks. May your heart be as light as a song. May each day bring you bright, happy hours. That stay with you all the year long.” Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day and I’m celebrating with this sinfully delicious vegan shamrock shake, spiked as an adult beverage of course!
